Сегодня в музыкальном магазине наткнулась вот на такую штуку:

Basstar Electric Travel BASS guitar maple neck ministar

Это самая легкая и маленькая бас-гитара,предназначенная для путешествий,которую я когда-либо видела!По идее,она состоит только из одного грифа.Так и просятся сюда слова знаменитой песенки:

"Натянув на палку струны,
Я провел эксперимент,
И познал,что бас-гитара,
Лучший в мире инструмент!"

Но!Кроме смеха!Если больше не на чем играть,то на этой палке вполне возможно отыграть концерт! Пятнадцать минут спустя в секции гитар обнаружила такую-же шестиструнку!А на каком-то сайте попалась инфа,что есть басы даже пятиструнные!

The Minibass is one of the most innovative electric bases on the market today. Improving on the traditional “travel/fold-out” style, they’ve created a single one-piece neck and body, allowing elongated sustain. The wood grain runs through the entire length of the bass, from the top of the headstock to the tail of the body itself. This helps with the sustain, contributes to the tone, and obviously makes for a stronger guitar. The Minibass offers solid construction while maintaining its’ low weight, making it virtually the most portable electric guitar ever made. When in its’ padded nylon gig bag (included, along with cable and strap), it can easily fit in a car, overhead storage compartment on a plane, or even in most suitcases! The bass has 24-fret maple fingerboard and couldn’t permit easier access to the top frets. Complete with a fully adjustable bridge, truss rod, nut, and a single high-output pick-up with master volume control knob.

Both instruments featured a one-piece neck and body design allowing maximum tone and sustain with minimum body size. Other features include a 24 fret maple fingerboards, a fully adjustable bridge, truss rod, nut (allowing the strings to be set as "close as Mother Nature will allow” without buzzing or rattling), a single high-output pickup with a master volume control, and folding extension rods to simulate a full-size body.

When the instruments are folded and packed in their nylon carrying bag, they can go just about anywhere. Traveling musicians will no longer need to worry about checking their precious guitar at the airport; both the Ministar and Basstar can fit inside the overhead compartment in an airplane.
